The Chancellery of the Constitutional Court

section 9
(1) The Chancellery of the Constitutional Court is a legal entity and shall perform the tasks connected with the organisational and staff administration, and the economic, administrative and technical support for the activity of the Constitutional Court. The Chancellery may set up a liaison office away from the seat of the Constitutional Court in the capital city of the Slovak Republic.
(2) The Head of the Chancellery administrates and acts on behalf of the Chancellery. The Head of the Chancellery shall be appointed and dismissed by the President of the Constitutional Court, to whom s/he is responsible for the activity of the Chancellery.
(3) The tasks of the Chancellery shall be performed by state employees and other employees.
(4) Details on the organisation and the activity of the Chancellery and the status of state employees and other employees of the Chancellery shall be defined by the rules of organisation of the Chancellery, issued by the Head of the Chancellery.
Section 9a
(1) The state employees of the Chancellery are remunerated as follows: according to salary scales with respective description of capabilities expected of state employees of the Chancellery; according to associated base salaries; and according to special regulation. The salary scales with respective description of capabilities expected of state employees of the Chancellery are specified in Annex no. 1 and the associated base salaries are specified in Annex no. 2.
(2) Remuneration of state employees of the Chancellery and other conditions or requirements are laid down by special regulation unless this law provides otherwise.
(3) The increase of the base salaries of state employees of the Chancellery shall be decided on yearly in accordance with the amount specified in special regulation. The increased base salaries of state employees of the Chancellery and the date on which the increase takes effect shall be specified by internal regulations.
Section 9b
The President of the Constitutional Court decides on the salary of the Head of the Chancellery, on the flat-rate compensation of costs incurred in connection with the performance of his office and on other requisites.
