JÁN KLUČKA
Judge of the Constitutional Court of the Slovak Republic
in the period from January 21, 1993 to April 30, 2004

Professor of International Law and Politics in the Faculty of Law at P. J Šafárik University. He also represents the Slovak Republic on the Venice Committee for Democracy through Law, and is a member of the Vienna Center for the Prevention of International Conflicts and also the Slovak representative in the Association of the International Law.
Basic scientific and pedagogic orientation is international public law regarding international legal protection of human rights, international law of aeronautics and space travel, and international protection of the environment. He has published a number of articles and papers in these fields, both domestically and internationally.

He was appointed a judge of the Constitutional Court of the Slovak Republic on January 21, 1993.
He was re-appointed a judge of the Constitutional Court of the Slovak Republic on January 22, 2000.
In May 2004 he became the judge representing the Slovak Republic at the European Court of Justice in Luxembourg.
