Tibor Šafárik
TIBOR ŠAFÁRIK
Judge of the Constitutional Court of the Slovak Republic
in the period from January 22, 1993 to January 21, 2000

He graduated from the Faculty of Law at Comenius University in Bratislava. He worked initialy as an advocate (1964 - 1993). From 1986 to 1990 he served as Chairman of the District Advocacy Union in Kosice, and as a member of the Committee of the Headquarters of Slovak Advocacy. At the same time he was a member of the study section on criminal law at the Headquarters of Slovak Advocacy (1980 - 1990).
He was appointed a Constitutional Court judge on January 21, 1993.
