VIERA MRÁZOVÁ
Judge of the Constitutional Court of the Slovak Republic
in the period from January 22, 1993 to January 21, 2000

Formerly professor of Labour Law in the Faculty of Law at Comenius University in Bratislava. From 1990 to 1993 she worked as Director of the Legislative Dapartment in both the Ministry of Control and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Slovak Republic. Prior to that she was a member of the Legislative Council of the Government of the Slovak Republic for labour law and social welfare. She also worked as a scientist in the Research Intitute of Labour and Social Welfare and in the Law Institute of the Ministry of Justice of the Slovak Republic.
Basic science and pedagogic orientation is labour law and social welfare. A number of her articles have been published both domestically and internationally. She is the joint-author of the textbook "Labour Law", and has also authored several academic treatises for university students and for the legal profession.
She was appointed a Constitutional Court judge on January 21, 1993
